Hilton Head Weather
Thanks to the Gulf Stream, which pushes its warm water this far north, our average year-round water temperature is a cozy 69 degrees. Sea breezes bathe the island, and year-round average midday and evening temperatures are 75 and 55 degrees, respectively. The lack of extended cold periods means terrific growth opportunities, giving us lush yards, shrubs and green golf courses when most others are brown or covered with snow. The chart below will give a numerical understanding of the seasons on the Island.
