DAUFUSKIE ISLAND COMMUNITIES

Daufuskie is the quiet sister of Hilton Head Island. Daufuskie offers a relaxed pace of life and a distinct feel for the island's history. Here pristine oaks and Southern pines set-up against the blue waters of Calibogue Sound and the Atlantic to produce some of the most spectacular views in the Lowcountry. Today the Island is reminiscent of Hilton Head in its early days of development. As there is no bridge to Daufuskie Island, travelers to the island must travel by ferry with hourly service from Hilton Head.
