The harbor lock system is 80´ long and 20´ wide and can accommodate any craft falling within that size range.  The 15 acre harbour has 250-slips, is home to the South Carolina Yacht Club and is one of only three private locked harbors on the East Coast, offering a combination of convenience and security.  The Sports Center at Windmill Harbour offers seven Har-Tru tennis courts, saunas, Jacuzzi, dressing rooms, a pro shop and 25-meter swimming pool.  Windmill Harbour is a gated community and near to the amenities of Hilton Head Island and the many shops and restaurants. The South Carolina Yacht Club makes Windmill Harbour its home and a owners can join the club even if they are not boaters.  The club offers many family activities throughout the year.
